Day 6:

Dye colour: Black Tea Brown. There's nothing more British than a good old cuppa, and on fibres the tea leaves produce a long lasting brown dye. I source mine from local cafe's at the end of the day, as once the taste is extracted for tea drinkers there is still plenty of pigment to be found. I then compost the remaining leaves.     

Knitting Pattern: Chevron & Eyelet. A 10 stitch 8 row repeat. Join today's yarn & follow the charted pattern for 18 rows.     

Row 88 & all WS rows: . Sl 1, k2 tog, yo. Slip stitch marker, purl to 3 before end, slip stitch marker, knit 3. Turn work (59 sts)     

Row 89: RS. Sl 1, k2 tog, yo. Slip stitch marker, k1, * yo, sl1 k1 psso,  k8 *, repeat from * to * 4 more times. Yo, sl1 k1 psso, slip stitch marker, knit 3. Turn work (59 sts)     

Row 91: RS. Sl 1, k2 tog, yo. Slip stitch marker, k1, *k1, yo, sl1 k1 psso,  k5, k2 tog, yo *, repeat from * to * 4 more times. K2, slip stitch marker, knit 3. Turn work (59 sts)     

Row 93: RS. Sl 1, k2 tog, yo. Slip stitch marker, k1, *k2, yo, sl1 k1 psso,  k3, k2 tog, yo, k1 *, repeat from * to * 4 more times. K2, slip stitch marker, knit 3. Turn work (59 sts)
