Day 7:  

Dye colour: Red Sandalwood. Originating in India & Tamil Nadu, this tree has been used for various purposes for over 4,000 years. It is one of my favourite dyes to use as it fills the studio with a beautiful scent!     

Knitting Pattern: Bead Insertion. This is a really useful Shetland lace insertion that works best in finer yarns. Join today's yarn & follow the charted pattern for 19 rows.      Row 106: WS. Sl 1, k2 tog, yo. Slip stitch marker, purl to 3 before end, slip stitch marker, knit 3. Turn work (59 sts)     

Row 107: RS.  Sl 1, k2 tog, yo. Slip stitch marker, knit 1. * k3, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, ssk, k2 *. Repeat from * to * 4 more times. K2, slip stitch marker, knit 3. Turn work (59 sts)     

Row 108: WS. Sl 1, k2 tog, yo. Slip stitch marker, purl 2. * p1, k2tog, yo, p3, yo, ssk, p2 *. Repeat from * to * 4 more times. P1, slip stitch marker, knit 3. Turn work (59 sts)     

Row 109: RS.  Sl 1, k2 tog, yo. Slip stitch marker, knit 1. * k3, yo, ssk, k1, k2tog, yo, k2 *. Repeat from * to * 4 more times. K2, slip stitch marker, knit 3. Turn work (59 sts)     

Row 110: WS. Sl 1, k2 tog, yo. Slip stitch marker, purl 2. * p3, yo, k3tog tbl, yo, p4*. Repeat from * to * 4 more times. P1, slip stitch marker, knit 3. Turn work (59 sts).     

Rows 111 to 114: repeat rows 107 through 110.     

Rows 115 to 118: repeat rows 107 through 110.     

Rows 119 to 122: repeat rows 107 through 110.
