Dye colour: Avocado pink. Avocado skins & pips can be used to make a surprising 'skin' pink tone. I collect mine from friends and local restaurants – food waste can be a great source for dye!     

Knitting Pattern:  Mrs Hunter's Pattern. An unusual stitch unique to Shetland lace which has a slight stretch to it. Note: this has 1 less stitch on every 2nd repeat row. Join today's yarn & follow the charted pattern for 20 rows.     

Row 143: RS. Sl 1, k2 tog, yo. Slip stitch marker, knit to 3 before end, slip stitch marker, knit 3. Turn work (59 sts)     

Row 144: WS. Sl 1, k2 tog, yo. Slip stitch marker, purl to 3 before end, slip stitch marker, knit 3. Turn work (59 sts)     

Row 145: RS. Sl 1, k2 tog, yo. Slip stitch marker, k1 * slip 1 purlwise, knit 3 stitches, pass slipped stitch over all 3 *. Repeat * to * 12 more times. Slip stitch marker, knit 3. Turn work (59 sts).     

Row 146: WS. Sl 1, k2 tog, yo. Slip stitch marker, purl 40 stitches, slip stitch marker, knit 3. Turn work (46 sts).     

Row 147: RS. Sl 1, k2 tog, yo. Slip stitch marker, k1 *  YO, k3 *. Repeat * to * 12 more times. Slip stitch marker, knit 3. Turn work (59 sts).     

Row 148: WS. Sl 1, k2 tog, yo. Slip stitch marker, purl to 3 before end, slip stitch marker, knit 3. Turn work (59 sts)     

Rows 149 to 152: Repeat rows 145 through 148.       

Rows 153 to 156: Repeat rows 145 through 148.
