Dye colour: Weld Yellow. A strong, fresh, yellow tone. I grow weld in my dye garden but it is often freely available on wasteland and abandoned building sites as it thrives on rocky & recently disturbed soil.
Knitting Pattern: Ridged Eyelet pattern. This is a really simple 4 x 2 repeat which looks fantastic as a 'partition' between more complicated patterns. Join today's yarn & follow the charted pattern for 18 rows.
Row 273: RS. Sl 1, k2 tog, yo. Slip stitch marker, k1, p51, k1, slip stitch marker, knit 3. Turn work (59 sts).
Row 274: WS. Sl 1, k2 tog, yo. Slip stitch marker, p1, k51, p1, slip stitch marker, knit 3. Turn work (59 sts).
Row 275: Repeat Row 273.
Row 276: WS. Sl 1, k2 tog, yo. Slip stitch marker, p1, * yo, sl1 k1 psso *. Repeat from * to * 24 more times, p2, slip stitch marker, knit 3. Turn work (59 sts).
Rows 277 through 280: Repeat rows 273 through 276 once.
Rows 281 through 284: Repeat rows 273 through 276 once.
Rows 285 through 288: Repeat rows 273 through 276 once.
Rows 289 & 290: Repeat rows 273 & 274.
