Day 21:  

Dye colour: Cochineal Baby Pink. Cochineal comes from a South American insect. I source mine from a sustainable farm in Gran Canaria as I can follow the farmers progress via social media.  

Knitting Pattern: Cat's Eye. This pattern requires a little bit of concentration due to the differing stitch count between rows. Every 2nd row of the repeat has 2 less stitches than the previous row. Join today's yarn & follow the charted pattern for 20 rows.     

Row 365: RS. Sl 1, k2 tog, yo. Slip stitch marker, knit to 3 before end, slip stitch marker, knit 3. Turn work (59 sts)     

Row 366: WS. Sl 1, k2 tog, yo. Slip stitch marker, purl to 3 before end, slip stitch marker, knit 3. Turn work (59 sts)     

Row 367: RS. Sl 1, k2 tog, yo. Slip stitch marker, k3, double yarn over, *k4, double YO, * Repeat from * to * 11 more times, then k4, yo, k1, slip stitch marker, knit 3. Turn work (83 sts)     

Row 368: WS. Sl 1, k2 tog, yo. Slip stitch marker, * p1, k1, ssk, ssk, *, repeat from * to * 10 more times, then p1, k1, ssk, p1, slip stitch marker, knit 3. Turn work (59 sts)
