Hi Vis Socks Knitting Kit

A yarn bundle + pattern for the 'Hi Vis' knitted socks.

These socks have been designed for my 'The Day The World Turned Day-Glo' merino blend sock yarn mini skein set, to make full advantage of the brightness of the yarns (which have been dyed using genuinely fluorescent yarns – they will glow under U.V./Black light!). 

The repeating geometric pattern is inspired by a traditional Faroese knitting motif called 'cribs' but I have chosen to call the socks HI Vis, as the motif looks like a capital H or I (depending on your font!).

3 Size options are included in the bundle: Small (UK 3-4), Medium (5-6), Large (7-8).

Each kit contains:
1 x Hi Vis Socks printed pattern with written and charted instructions.
1 x 50g hand dyed 'Anthracite Grey' sock yarn.
1 x hand dyed 'The Day The World Turned Day Glo' 100g sock yarn mini skein set.

You will need to have your own knitting needles (2.25mm + 2.75mm Double Pointed Needles) and assorted knitting tools (stitch markers, sewing needle, scissors) to make these socks.

Yarn composition is 75% superwash merino/25% nylon. All merino sourced from cruelty free sources. Hand dyed in Folkestone.

Yarn alternatives have been provided for those who wish to make their own colours up.
