Sunset Beach solid mini skein set on Sock or DK  weight yarn.

The set has 8 mini skeins dyed in pink, lilac and peach tones which resemble the scattering of colours in a Folkestone sunset.

Candy Floss, Peony, Bubblegum, Flamingo, Heather, Parma Violet, Coral and Peach can also be purchased as individual 100g sock yarn skeins which pair well with 'Beach Hut Grey' sock yarn.

The gradient is also available on 8 x 25g Merino DK skeins, which are perfect for crocheting the 'Shepherd's Delight' shawl pattern. All available elsewhere in this shop.

4ply Yarn base is 75% superwash merino/25% nylon sock weight wool in 8 x 10g mini skeins. Each mini skein is 42.5m in length (approx) so the total length is 340m. Gauge 10cm square 34 sts & 44 rows on 2.75mm needles. Needle size 2.25mm-3.5mm.

DK yarn: 75% superwash merino wool, 25% nylon. 8 x 10g skeins of 22.5m (approx) each, totalling 180m (approx) in total.

Hand dyed with acid dye for colourfastness.

Great for colourwork or amigurimi. 80g can make a pair of socks up to large adult female/medium male foot sizes.

Featuring 8 solid colours in shades inspired by Folkestone's candy coloured beach huts which were painted by artist Rana Begum for Folkestone Art Triennial 2021. Located above the shoreline of Mermaid Beach on Lower Saxon Way, this series of 120 huts painted in rising and falling gradients of rainbow colours is officially named 'No. 1054 Arpeggio' and are rented by locals for personal use.
