'The Day The World Turned Day-Glo mini skein set.

Featuring 10 solid colours in vibrant day-glo dye. The gradient goes from acid green, to fluro yellow, through to day-glo orange and ends up as an intense hot pink.

Yarn base is 75% superwash merino/25% nylon sock weight wool in 10 x 10g mini skeins.

 Each mini skein is 42.5m in length (approx) so the total length is 425m.

Gauge 10cm square 34 sts & 44 rows on 2.75mm needles.

Needle size 2.25mm-3.5mm. 

'The Day the World Turned Day-Glo' is a nod to the X-Ray Spex song of the same name. We're a big fan of badass women here at FHY Towers, and we reckon that feminist-punk trailblazers Poly Styrene and Lora Logic of X-Ray Spex are amongst our favourite female icons.

Hand dyed with acid dye for colourfastness. Great for colourwork or amigurimi. 100g can make a pair of socks up to large adult female/medium male foot sizes.
