Vintage Blue Plastic Twinco Yarn/String Holder

Vintage plastic yarn/string holder, made in England by Twinco, circa 1950's.

Blue soft plastic, semi-opaque, with original brown vinyl strap intact. Fits a ball or cake of yarn/string easily.

Photos shown a 50g ball of DK weight wool, so it will fit larger than that.

The base simply pulls off so you can put your ball of yarn or string inside and thread the end through a hole in the top. It stands 10cm tall (not including the handle) and measures 12.5cm diameter across the base.

It comes in good, preowned condition and will make a practical yarn holder or be a beautiful display piece for a vintage knitting collection.
