Vintage Embroidered Fabric Knitting Needle Case

Vintage fabric knitting needle storage case.

Hand embroidered with cotton threads and edged with bias binding.

Contains 2 pairs of wooden knitting needles.

Red, lilac, blue, yellow, green and brown hand embroidery on a textured (possibly barkcloth) beige fabric, edged in orange binding.

Probably 1970's due to the colours and machined binding, but looks inspired by 1930's swiss/eidelweiss designs.

Handmade.

Measurements are: folded length 31cm, width 10cm, depth, approx 1 cm.

Show signs of use and age with some small stain marks to the fabric (please see photos). This item has been gently laundered.
