Walk With Pride Sock Knitting Yarns

These yarns celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community and are in colours inspired by 8 different Pride Flags. These are the Rainbow, Progress, Transgender, Lesbian, Genderfluid, Non Binary, Bisexual and Straight Ally Flags.

Two mini yarn packs, Rainbow & Progress, are also available, each containing enough yarn for an afterthought heel or swiss darning.

All yarn packs: Gauge 10cm square 34 sts & 44 rows on 2.75mm needles. Needle size 2.25mm-3.5mm.

Flag Yarns:
Rainbow Flag yarns: 80g = 340m. Colours are red (10g), orange (10g), yellow (20g), green (20g), blue (10g), purple (10g). Additional yarn will be needed for the L & XL sizes if using the FHY Walk With Pride knitting pattern. We suggest adding an afterthought heel.
Lesbian Flag yarns: 80g = 340m. Colours are deep orange (10g), medium orange (10g), light orange (10g), White (20g), light pink (10g), medium pink (10g) & dark pink (10g). Additional yarn will be needed for the L & XL sizes if using the FHY Walk With Pride knitting pattern. We suggest adding an afterthought heel.
Bisexual Flag yarns: 120g = 510m. Colours are pink (50g), lilac (20g) & blue (50g). Transgender Flag yarns: 100g = 425m. Colours are pink (40g), white (20g) & blue (40g). 
Non Binary Flag yarns: 100g = 425m. Colours are yellow (20g), white (30g), purple (30g) & black (20g).
Genderfluid flag yarns: 100g = 425m. Colours are pink (20g), white (20g), purple (20g), black (20g) & blue (20g).
Straight Ally Flag yarns: 130g = 552.5m. Colours are white (50g), black (50g) and 5g each of red, orange, yellow, green, blue & purple.
Progress Flag yarns: Colours are red (10g), orange (10g), yellow (20g), green (20g), blue (10g), purple (10g) plus 5g each of black, brown, light blue, pink & white.

Afterthought heel packs:
Rainbow pack: 30g = 127.5m. 5g each of red, orange, yellow, green, blue & purple. Can also be used for swiss darning.
Progress pack: 25g = 106.5m. 5g each of black, brown, light blue, pink & white. Can also be used for swiss darning.

The Walk With Pride sock knitting pattern is available to download separately in this shop and contains patterns inspired by 17 different Pride flags. These socks can be worn by anyone identifying as or wishing to show support for the Queer community and allow the wearer to 'Walk With Pride' whilst celebrating diversity and inclusion. 20% percentage of all pattern sales will be donated to Stonewall UK.
