Sizing of the pencil cardigan pattern has 5-10 cm positive ease and is as follows:
Size 1 - finished garment chest circumference 90 cm. Suggested size UK 8-10 (82-87 cm chest).
Size 2 - finished garment chest circumference 101 cm. Suggested size UK 12-14 (92-97 cm chest).
Size 3 - finished garment chest circumference 112 cm. Suggested size UK 16-18 (102-108 cm chest).
Size 4 - finished garment chest circumference 123 cm. Suggested size UK 20-22 (114-120 cm chest).
Size 5 - finished garment chest circumference 134 cm. Suggested size UK 24-26 (126-132 cm chest).

Yarn is hand dyed Folkestone Harbour Yarn merino blend DK weight. 75% superwash merino/25% nylon. 225m per 100g. Main colour is 'Beach Hut Grey', Contrast Colour 1 is 'Cappuccino', Contrast Colours 2 through 9 are the 'Sunset Beach' mini skein set, 8 x 20g.

Yarn requirements: Size 1 - 4 x MC 100g, 1 x CC1 100g, 1 x each CC2-9 20g. Size 2 - 4 x MC 100g, 1 x CC1 100g, 1 x each CC2-9 20g. Size 3 - 5 x MC 100g, 1 x CC1 100g, 1 x each CC2-9 20g. Size4 - 6 x MC 100g, 1 x CC1 100g, 1 x each CC2-9 20g. Size5 - 6 x MC 100g, 1 x CC1 100g, 1 x each CC2-9 20g.

Pattern skill level: medium/difficult. This pattern is knitted sideways using intarsia technique colour changes and several different increases/decreases, plus picking up stitches and knitting in the round.
