Dye colour: Lac plum. Lac is a dye made from scale insects found in Asia. It has been used as a dye for 100's of years and produces pinks/reds/purples.  

Knitting Pattern: 'Half Leaf'. This pattern doesn't officially have a name as I have adapted it from a Japanese lace motif. I  have called it 'Half Leaf' as it looks like the bottom half of a knitted leaf to me.    Row 36: WS. Sl 1 purlwise, k2 tog, yo. Slip stitch marker. Purl 53 sts. Slip stitch marker, k3. Turn work.
